A hybrid homeschool program is a flexible educational model that combines aspects of traditional homeschooling and classroom learning.   It is the ideal collaboration between receiving the individual attention and flexibility that homeschooling offers and the independence that comes with having a separate teacher and the socialization and connections made with other peers.  Having both the homeschool and the classroom experiences working together allows for the ideal balance for optimal learning and for personal and family well-being.  It also comes with a sense of community, as school families come together to support each other in this shared journey.

Bloom Engaged Learning Academy (BELA) is a hybrid homeschool program, which meets 2 days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in person within the classroom environment from 9:00-3:00.  Coordinating lessons are assigned for the remaining 3 weekdays to be completed at home with a caregiver.  Field trips are an integral part of learning and are scheduled on off-days (days that are not completed within the classroom environment) throughout the year.  Families independently file for homeschool and complete necessary documents and testing.  Homeschool curriculum is followed that has been selected by BELA.

What makes BELA unique from other hybrid homeschool programs in the Triangle?
