Curriculum Overview

"Homeschool curriculum has been selected to allow for an easy-to-follow program, that is multi-sensory in nature, and covers the fundamentals within each subject."

Core Subjects: Language Arts (Reading, Spelling, Grammar, Writing), Math, Science, Social Studies
Elective Courses: Spanish, Music, Art, Cooking
Project-Based Learning: Integrated into the classroom, as well as promoted through optional monthly field trips.
Social-Emotional Learning: Support students’ mental and emotional well-being. This is a foundational aspect of the learning environment and will be promoted on a daily basis.

Indoor and Outdoor Classrooms: Our school has access to both indoor and outdoor classrooms, which are both utilized on a daily basis.
Group Learning: A focus is placed on interacting with peers and building inter-personal skills and fostering positive relationships.
Child-Teacher Relationship: Teachers prioritize a strong, supportive relationship with each child.
Child-Led Learning: Students are a constant part of the planning process regarding what learning material is covered and in what way it is presented.
Engaged Learning: Worksheets are used minimally, with a focus on fun, multi-sensory learning activities.
